Sourcing & Sustainability

Rustic Antler Market
A trade name of High Desert Hospitality, LLC

Our Approach:
Rustic Antler Market was founded on a deep respect for the natural world and the materials it provides. We believe responsible sourcing, thoughtful design, and long term use are central to true sustainability. Our work begins with nature, and our responsibility is to honor it.

Ethical Sourcing:
All antlers offered by Rustic Antler Market are:

• Naturally shed or lawfully obtained wildlife materials
• Sourced within the United States
• Acquired in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
• Purchased from licensed collectors, private landowners, or lawful suppliers where required

We do not sell antlers that are poached, illegally harvested, or obtained through unethical or exploitative practices.

Respect for Wildlife:
Naturally shed antlers are a renewable resource. Our sourcing practices prioritize materials that do not harm animals and align with conservation principles.

We do not work with protected or endangered species and do not support practices that disrupt wildlife populations or habitats.

Thoughtful Use of Natural Materials:
Antlers are durable, long lasting materials. We design products intended to be kept, displayed, and appreciated for generations rather than consumed or discarded.

Natural variations, marks, and character are preserved whenever possible as an authentic reflection of each antler’s origin and history.

Heritage Textiles:
In addition to natural antlers, select mounts incorporate heritage textiles chosen for their durability, provenance, and long established reputation for quality. These materials are selected with the same care and intention as the antlers themselves and are used to complement the natural form rather than define it.

Harris Tweed:
Harris Tweed is a legally protected cloth produced in Scotland’s Outer Hebrides. It is traditionally handwoven by independent weavers using 100 percent virgin wool and finished in the Outer Hebrides in accordance with established standards governing origin and production.

Harris Tweed is recognized for its durability, texture, and longevity, qualities that align with our preference for materials intended to be valued and used over long periods of time.

Pendleton:
Pendleton Woolen Mills is a United States based textile manufacturer with a long history of producing wool fabrics known for their quality, warmth, and enduring patterns. Pendleton fabrics are widely recognized for their craftsmanship and long term performance.

When incorporated into our work, these textiles are selected to complement the character, scale, and intended lifespan of each piece.

Fabric Use Disclosure:
Rustic Antler Market is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Harris Tweed, the Harris Tweed Authority, or Pendleton Woolen Mills. All trademarks, names, and references are used solely for the purpose of identifying the materials used and describing their origin.

Textiles are sourced lawfully through legitimate resale channels and used in a manner consistent with small scale artisan production.

Craft and Longevity:
We believe sustainability includes how long an object remains valued and in use. Our mounts and products are created with durability, timeless design, and quality materials so they can live well beyond trends and seasons.

Well made objects reduce waste by lasting longer.

Responsible Production:
We take a measured approach to production and inventory. Many of our products are made in small batches or created to order to reduce excess materials and unnecessary waste.

Packaging is selected with care, prioritizing protection, efficiency, and responsible material use whenever possible.

Continuous Improvement:
Sustainability is not static. We continually evaluate our sourcing, materials, and processes, seeking opportunities to improve our environmental and ethical footprint as our business grows.

Transparency:
We believe trust is built through clarity. If you have questions about our sourcing practices, materials, or sustainability approach, we welcome thoughtful inquiry and are happy to share more about how our products are made.
